AREA/                        The property consist of stands of ponderosa pine, oak and Douglas fir with large CLIMATE:               areas of manzanita and meadows providing excellent habitat.
 
ACCOM-
MODATIONS          The Shamrock Ranch is located in the heart of northern California in the rugged coastal  region where the redwood groves meet the Pacific Ocean.  The 17,000 acre ranch is located approximately approximately 150 miles from San Francisco, Sacramento or Oakland.  The lodge is a 2400 square foot, newly remodeled building with spectacular views.
 
TRANS-                     Fly into San Francisco, Sacramento or Oakland and rent a car for the 150 PORTATION:       mile drive to the ranch on Highway 101.
 
SUCCESS:                 Hunts are limited to three per season for the opportunity to hunt this 17,000 acre ranch.  There are only three five day hunts for elk, and approximately 10 hunters for Blacktail deer in either season.  Late season is after the third week of October.  In 2015, two of the three bulls scored 318 and 335.  In 2013 and 2014 success was again 100%.  In 2016 bull size in archery was 320.
