TRANSPORTATION
Hunters fly into Albuquerque, New Mexico, and rent a car for the 165 mile trip to camp.
Locations also available are Santa Fe or Durango, however, best overall location with vehicle                                                            lease is Albuquerque.

ACCOMMODATIONS
For most hunts in New Mexico, hunters stay in Chromo, Colorado.  Bunk houses and large wall                             tents provide housing with wall tents carpeted and beds.  Occasionally, there are some spike camps set up in certain areas.  There are several ranches with private lodging on premises. Occasionally, hotels are used. They no longer hunt Colorado.

SUCCESS:            At this New Mexico camp, success is “Everywhere”. We prefer to call this location “Elk Central”.  Over the last 8 years rifle hunters were 82% successful in harvest of 5 and 6 point bulls, but the opportunity at elk was at 94% on 5x5 or better.  That’s incredible, but their 15 year average is 83% rifle and 32% archery success on dead elk on the ground.  Trophy fee of $500 if a bear is taken
